🗻 Hidden Gem – Izu Peninsula Guide 🇯🇵
Having travelled through Japan for over 3 weeks, going through the Golden route of Kyoto, Osaka, Japan, Nara, Uji, and more, we realized one thing.
Our favorite part wasn’t actually along the Golden Route—it was the Izu Peninsula that truly stole our hearts.
Someone asked me why it was our favourite part, and this is how I responded:
Cruising along Japan’s breathtaking coastline, we watched the waves crash against the shore, framed by delicate cherry blossoms and the distant silhouette of Mount Fuji. Along the way, we stopped at jaw-dropping viewpoints, indulged in wasabi ice cream, and soaked in the beauty of the journey. As the day came to a close, we unwound in natural onsens and savoured exquisite kaiseki meals—an experience so peaceful, it remains one of the most relaxing moments of all our travels.
